First and foremost, I wanted to humbly say thank you! Thank you for making it here, for viewing; even you reading this right now constitutes for so much. Your presence here is truly appreciated and my gratitude is boundless.
My name is Darius Levanté, a former Richmond Virginia native, an actor, choreographer, and freelance photographer currently based in Los Angeles. What started as a photo diary experiment with friends and myself, suddenly transformed into the birthing of D.Levanté Photography.
I get to travel and continue this work by witnessing and creating phenomenal moments with splendid people and inspiring artists alike. Levanté in Spanish means “to raise” as in, to command one’s self to elevate to a higher level of excellence. Therefore with every photo I capture, and any venture I take, I hold this message with conviction.
